Unknown connector

I will be going closing this thread soon as i found out that the connector is for dev debugging and it won't appear on consumer boards

Do you guys know what is this connector on the Asus crosshair vi hero motherboard?

Well, usually they are marked as FAN_1 or something like it.

Also no mention of the header in manual is suspicious, better leave it be.

Their manual doesn't mention it (e.g. page 1-2).

I doubt it's a fan header, because I'm sure it would be labeled as such (but yes, it does look similar to one). Maybe some kind of debug probe that isn't meant for end users.

I think it might be a VDG connector for rgb m.2 ssd since it is near a m.2 slot

But then why wouldn't they label it as such and mention it in the manual? If you look at the graphs in their manual that spot isn't referred to anywhere.
