Hi everyone, so I've recently upgraded my gpu from a gtx1060 3gb to a gtx 1080 8gb.

This is my system: i5 9400f, 16gig ddr4 ram and the gtx 1080

so I think that my gpu is being bottlenecked by my cpu, so would it help if I upgraded to a i7 9700k. This is my bench mark in assassin's creed origins.

If you can see the gaps in my frames, this is where the screen freezes for a few seconds and then continues again. This never happened on my gtx 1060.

note:This only happens on Ubisoft games. Other games run a lot better

Thank you in advance for your reply
