feels overpriced imo... the other two seems fine for a high end build

personally use generic cooler master paste for most build, and only use "better" thermal paste for my main rig

diff is like... 2c maybe, not too sure about curing time tho

but the CM paste lasted 2 years on my desktop that doesnt shut down, not dry, good enough for me

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Is the masterGel Pro R2 good?RM20 for 1.5ml.It comes with a "grease cleaner" is it okay to use that to clean the paste off the GPU

asking which premium paste is better is pointless

they're all within 1-2c of each other, or within margin of error

so just get whatever is convenient/give u the most uses (they do dry if you keep for a long time)

as for cleaning, just go to pharmacy and get a bottle of isopropyl alcohol, 70% or above will do

one bottle is like RM20-ish

Found a cooler master 1 for 7.80 as for the alcohol online is only like 8.But what i meant was people say i should use stuff with less fiber??to prevent pulling resistors or smt

when cleaning thermal paste

u can get the bulk of it off with tissue paper (fiberous material)

then put a bit of alcohol on a microfiber cloth/ old clothes / cloth that wont leave fiber behind and clean the IHS

when cleaning, be wary of the cloth catching other components, i normally wrap the cloth around my finger and do polishing motion

let alcohol dry (it dries fast) before applying new thermal paste

If you want to re-paste the GPU, please use high viscosity thermal paste.

And please, please do not use pea size or small dot method (or whatever it is called) on GPU. It is important that the die is completely covered by thermal paste, or there will be hot spot on the die. Extra thermal paste will be squeezed out by the pressure of the heatsink. It is fine as long as the thermal paste is not electrically conductive or capacitive.

For something with IHS, it makes almost no difference. NT-H1 or MX-4 is fine.

I used NT-H1 on my 2070 super, it pumped out like crazy.

Only after two weeks of gaming, there is almost no thermal paste on the edge of the die.

Right now I am using Thermalright TFX on GPU die, but it is very expensive. I might use Prolimatech PK-3 in the future.
