Is my CPU bottlenecking with my gpu?

Dear Brothers!

Recently I bought a new gpu 

Msi ventus 1660 xs oc 6gb 

And now I am getting suddem fps drops in some games with xeon e3 1240 v2 

I was using msi gtx 1050ti 4gb backdays 

I am gamer and youtuber also ..... I just have to game, edits some videos for yt and some times use it for 3d modelling

Kindly help me and tell me what should I do get the max performance and btw I am using 24" 60hz 1080p monitor for display with hdmi

That is likely a bottleneck. The single core performance of that chip isn't great and it's overall pretty old (2012).

 

I'd try upgrading to a Ryzen 3 3100 + B450 board or similar

Current System: Ryzen 7 3700X, Noctua NH L12 Ghost S1 Edition, 32GB DDR4 @ 3200MHz, MAG B550i Gaming Edge, 1TB WD SN550 NVME, SF750, RTX 3080 Founders Edition, Louqe Ghost S1
