I'd think the Noctua NH-U9B SE2 should be a valid pick for you. EDIT: If you would just go a bit over 50 you could get the dark rock 4 wich shouldn't have any issues with the most midclass CPUs!

My error. Somehow my brain filtered out the required price range and went shopping...

But still would be interesting to know the CPU.

From https://www.mwave.com.au/

Is seems reasonable priced - https://www.mwave.com.au/product/deepcool-gammaxx-400-120mm-pwm-fan-cpu-cooler-blue-ab60209

Deepcool GAMMAXX 400

It's not great, but cools better than most boxed coolers.

I feel like you need something more beefy for that CPU from what I've heard. You could go for an AIO but it will be atleast 100$ but will give you no real problems with temps!

Could you tell us what your plans are with this PC? Is it supposed to be a good gaming PC or just a workstation? (Or maybe even both to some degree?)

besides monitors accessories etc around $1600 aud

I'd say go with this:

CPU: i9 9900k
Motherboard: MSI MPG z390 mb
GPU: MSI RTX 2060 super
AIO: 120 Corsair iCUE H100i
RAM: TridentZ 3200MHz 16GB
Case: BeQuiet Dark Base 700
PUS: 140 850 Watt Corsair PSU RM850x
crucial 1tb m.2 ssd (100$)
You'll end somewhere up 1700$ if I did everything correctly and will deliver great performance. You can also upgrade storage or save up a little more for a more powerful GPU.

And if you wanted to you could get the "gaming carbon" edition of the MSI motherboard for greater looks! It will cost you like 70$ more tho.

Yes, you could go for a i7 9700k and for a cooler for a dark rock 4 pro. Won't look as good as the the dark rock 4 pro is a GIANT but will deliver almost as good performance. that will lower you for atleast 100$. You could also cheap out on the case and go for an NZXT H510 mid tower!

seems like a solid list in my opinion 1660 super is sort of a fail GPU from nvidea imo. It deliveres just a little more over the 1060 6GB (wich is a great card) but the performance is kind of outdated. If you're just wanting to be a at/over 60FPS that will give you no problems. However, if you're planing to play over 144FPS (incase you have/or will get a 144hz display) you should upgrade the Graphics card. But I don't think theres any other special need for that build.

It's decent for the price, however the NZXT H510 is at the same prize category and has better and easier cable management. And trust me, if you ever build a pc you know how stressful cables can be. 😄
