with my current case, my 240mm h100x rad is top mounted.

when i play intensive games and the gpu gets hot, the air coming out of the rad is also hot.

if ill mount the rad at the front as an intake will that be better at lowering cpu temps?

are you experiencing problems with the CPU throtteling down right now?

usually it is best practice to mount the radiator on an exhaust (so in the top of your case for example) since then the hot air gets thrown out of the case directly.

Mounting the radiator on top (exhaust) should pull out hot air out from you case more efficiently

(that's why the exhaust on top is hot.)

But if hot air is coming out of the rad its not really helping cool the cpu right?

No the cpu is not even close to throtteling but im just wondering since the gpu does get hot and the air coming out of the case is really hot

In my new case ill have 3 fans pre installed.

1 exhaust and 2 intakes.

Ill move the intakes to the top as 2 exhausts and the fan rad will be intakes

If the air Temp. in the case are cooler than the air on top of the radiator it should be fine because it means that the cooler is the thing making the air hot(except the cpu is running hotter than 90°C)
