so I'm thinking about upgrading my PC by getting a better case and motherboard. I dont't have enough money to switch to DDR4 but I have a GTX 1650 Super and 12 GB DDR3 and an I7 Processor. does anyone know any good DDR3 motherboards that are compatible with my CPU, GPU, and RAM or any good cases? unless there are good deals on DDR4.

There is really no point in 'upgrading' your motherboard without upgrading your CPU amd Ram. You will get zero benefit.

 

Also, it depends which i7 cpu you have to determine motherboard compatibility. But there are no i7 cpus that work with both ddr3 and ddr4. You are stuck with ddr3 on your current cpu. You would need to upgrade your cpu, ram amd motherboard all at the same time. 

 

Just get a nice new case if you want, and transfer your parts over to it.

 

If you want to upgrade your cpu, Save up for a new AMD cpu + motherboard + ddr4, the ryzen  3600 is a nice cpu for gaming. Or even a ryzen 3100.
