Intel i5 3570K or AMD FX 8350 ?

Check this video before everybody starts saying the intel:

i am planning to game with the pc :)
If its an fx you are comparing keep in mind the following... are you planing on record or streaming? Amd helps with multitasking

the methodology is flawed. Seriously flawed. Hint -> HIS ICEQ Radeon 7870 @ 1440

that aside 8350 and 3570k are similar in real life use. Intel gives a small edge in most (not all) games at the price of buying into a platform that will be extinct in 6 months (talking about s1155), AMD gives you a possibility to upgrade in the future at the price of a bigger power draw than intel and slower single thread performance.

Beyond that nobody can make the decision for you. Whoever tells you one is miles better than the other is a fanboy, you need to look at what matters to you. Do you run Adobe software? Amd will be faster cause Adobe leverages the cores. Do you mostly surf the web and game a bit? Intel will be better. But in both cases the differences are small, so small you might not even notice them if you put the two side by side on your desk
