Enabling xmp

Hi whenever I enable xmp my pc crashes gives me an error ur pc ran into a problem 

my pc specs are i9 9900k 32 gb ram

rtx 2080 super asus Rog strix z390 e gaming motherboard plz help I’m trying to turn xmp on for my memory only  I have the gskill 3200 xmp 2.0 ready

run 2933MHz after enabling XMP instead

 

make sure you're using the recommended slots (2 and 4 if they are layed out in 1234 order)

Try 2933. 

Make sure they're in slot 2 and 4. If it boots with 2933. Try 3200, if that didn't work. Set the vccio/vccsa to 1.1 and try again.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad. 

 

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

 

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

Set the vccio and vccsa to 1.1 and then try 3000 and them 3200. 

Technically anything over 2933 for comet lake is not guaranteed, but the imc should handle it just fine. And as said above make sure your ram is in slot 2 and 4.

Ah well then just try 3000 and try setting the vccio and vccsa to 1.1.

This is probably a contributing factor. Once you populate all 4 slots you significantly increase load on the IMC which makes higher overclocks much less likely.
