[Posted~ 16 hours ago, hasn't been resolved, so I posted again] Hey-

(I've been trying to get into video editing, and I've tried several video editing programs such as davinchi resolve 16, Lightworks, ect. But most of them failed to properly download. No big deal, that's not why I'm here.)

I settled on using filmora 9 as my video editing software, and I was ready to start importing my files into the software. Nope! There are very few files that properly show up, even when I sort it by "all files" instead of "all supported files." I guesstimate that the newest files that are there are ~ 1 year old. If I try to direct search or search up a file I want to use, even in "all files," I come up with nothing. To show you how extreme it is, I have a screenshot.  On the right side is the files that show up when I try to import... The most recent file I have that shows up is "screenshot 8," and the most recent file I have is "screenshot 1180." The files indeed are MP4, and  are not hidden. I've also tried dragging and dropping mp4 files and screenshots to the editor, to no avail. I've been trying this on several different pieces of video editing software, to a similar effect. Am I doing something wrong? Am I just an idiot?

From what I can tell Filmora supports MP4 containers with H.264 coded material only but the page does not specify what version. What's your exact source material, I mean encoder settings etc. Until today I've never heard of that application.
