Stretched Screen In-Games.

As the titles says,I recently wiped clean my laptop and reinstalled windows and while everything looks normal when I use windows and browse on the net I can't help but notice whenever I'm playing a game,be it dota or Warzone,it kind of feels like my screen has stretched a bit.

It that possible or am I hallucinating things?

Make sure the games are running at the same resolution as the screen on your laptop. 

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.
