Need a new gaming monitor.

This is strictly a gaming monitor.

Mainly used for FPS.

Looked at the g7 looks like flicker has a few issues nothing new there just been released so teething issues. Like asus Rog.

After suggestions from owners pls.

Play alot of tarkov, bit of cod.

Is 144hz the best atm. 27 32 inch ?

Suggestions would be appreciated

depending on ur gpu, these are the monitors i'd go for in each price range, recommendation is 144hz with the exception of the g7 and x27

1080p 144hz <200usd pixio px247

1080p 144hz <300 aoc 24G2

1440p 144hz <300 pixio px278

1440p 144hz <350 gigabyte 1440p 144hz va (forgot model #)

1440p 144hz <500 LG27GL850-b/gigabyte fl27q

anything around 700usd=g7

1200usd x27/pg27uq whichever's on sale if same price x27

1800usd x35/pg35vq whichever's on sale if same price pg35vq

As for waiting for a display port update for true 4k 144hz, doesn't look like next gen gpu or any of the current monitors has it, looks like another 2 years of wait.

Looked hard at the G7 although as i said previously they are having a few teething issues, flickering etc.

from what i gathered it's not true 240hz so the closer you push toward it the more likely it tears/flickers, but the other monitors in the price range aren't even close so i'd be willing to deal with just the minor issues or wait for a firmware update, but that could take months.
