Multiple players one steam

Dear Mr Linus sir, Affiliates and forum folks, I have three children who I want to play games with, so I want to build 4 computers, I want to play simple things like 7 days and dayz, along with a bunch of others. I don't want to have to buy 4 of each game, and from what I can tell nas is good for storing all the games, but not multi-playing from it, so I am thinking server, of which I don't know enough about even after spending some time now researching it. Does anyone have any ideas to push me in the right direction. Thank you.

4 computers = 4 users = 4 steam accounts = 4 legitimate copies of the game

If you want 4 people to be able to play the game at the same time you do need to buy the game 4 times.

You can share games with friends & family but its still limited to one player at any time.

I wanted multiplayer, have played two player on Xbox, but was limited to just two, could not get second one to lan. Wanted to play with all the critters at the same time as a team on pc's, was just trying to be cheap.

I think you mean you want to save money (being cheap and saving money are different :P)
