So i think after the beginning of august ill buy the gamepass after building my amd pc and i also think this gamepass service will definitely make the series x the last generation console ever..every game they showed off was xbox / windows pc and thats a scary thought becouse why buy a seriesX ware you can just by the gamepass on the pc ? there is no need for a xbox xonsole anymore heck i really hoped that fable was the exclusive to at least help the series x sales but nope its also pc to so why bother ?

First, not every Xbox game is available on PC, and even when that's the case, Game Pass doesn't always offer the same games across both platforms. Game Pass on PC is great, but it's not the same as Game Pass for Xbox.

Second, you can't build a computer to match the Series X right now. You *might* be able to once Ampere and RDNA2 launch, but there's still a number of SSD optimizations and stuff you'd have to manually implement on the PC side (RAMdisk for example), and you'd need super fast PCIe 4.0 storage. In the end, it would cost you 2-3 times the (likely) price of the Series X to build a comparable PC. Granted you can then do other things with the PC besides just gaming, but to say that there's no value in a console is just not correct.
