M.2 standoff broke

I was putting my standoff in the standoff on the motherboard for the m.2 when the thread on the standoff Brock off into the standoff on the motherboard. Is there anyway to get that thread out without damaging the standoff that is built in to the motherboard so I can just get another one and try again. Or I'm I going to have to do something else?

The thread itself broke off in the thread hole on the motherboard

Are the holes blind or do you have a path through to the other side? Does it protrude out the back? I don't know if you'll be able to find an extraction kit for something that small.

im not sure it is an x570 tuf gaming mother board if that helps. i will have to take it off to see

Assuming I'm looking at the correct motherboard it looks like the answer is yes.

 

How did you tighten the screw? With what?

I used the included hex adapter and a screw driver did not put that much on in at all but apparently not much at all was just enough to brake it. i believe i had it all the way in when it broke
