random reboots

Thought I'll give this one a second try and see if someone has any thoughts

I am aware that it's a wall of text, but blease be patient anr read through as I am desperate for any kind of help:

 

My computer keeps restarting randomly without bsod or bug code.

i thought i fixed it but it turned out i didn't

 

 

Changed psu, removed everything from the pc except mobo, system ssd, cpu, gpu, ram and psu (so no wicked corsair commanders etc)

keeps doing it

 

2h Furmark tested the gpu: no problem

2h prime95 tested the cpu: no problem

Memtest + windows ram control tool say ram is good

Crystal disk says ssd is good.

PSU was changed aswell for a known good one (tested the "old" psu too: no issue there)

 

 

I tore down everything (graficscard and mobo) washed everything with PCB cleaner and a soft brush, had it dry for almost 20h repastwd and rebuilt everything. (no damage what so ever was seen on the pcbs)

Problem still persists (although it seemed not to at first bc the pc stayed stable for 12h+ then I turned it off) that was the point i thought i fixed it

 

Hooked the pc up to a different outlet in my house

Problem persists...

 

Going to get a ups next (hope I can borrow one) as a member of an other forum suggested it may be dirty power. I somehow doubt that as the problem occurred suddenly and the system was fine for close to a year, but I am thankful for any input.

 

I am officially at the end of all my "wisdom"

 

All drivers aswell as bios are up to date. Windows was freshly installed.

 

Worst thing is that I can't trigger the issue and it keeps happening randomly, sometimes minutes after startup, sometimes hours after.

 

parts:

Asus Prime x470-pro

R5 3600 pinned to 3600mhz as long as troubleshooting

16gb corsair vengeance rgb pro xmp OFF as long as troubleshooting

Gigabyte 2080 super waterforce no OC

Corsair HX850i

what's the error message in the bsod screen?

you can check out event viewer for anomalies.

there is no BSOD

EV lists kernel power but bugcode is ZERO

A buggy Windows update maybe?

Get an old blank drive and try fresh install see if the problem persist.

already formated my sys drive and reinstalled

you have any other drive? an old hdd maybe?

set the pagefile settings to only the boot drive.

if set automatically windows will set to the largest space available.

sometimes when the drive have bad sectors, the pagefile will crash.

this is what happened to me recently.

i have 3 others, all 3 are 1tb ssds

What ever happend? Did you get to the bottom of it? I'm having kind om the same problem looking for a sollution. My computer reboots at random intervals.

Yes and no =/

Every time I start my rig it restarts. Sometimes once, sometimes several times. Sometimes a few minutes after startup, sometimes hours... 

 

But once it's stable, it's stable ^^ had it up for 3 weeks without issues XD restarted b/c of an update... One random restart, and I'm back to normal. 

 

I highly suspect some kind of whacky contact / grounding issue regarding board and or case. Will swap the board in winter (and maybe sell my rig if everything works fine. Got the itch again for a new build... Let's dee what Zen3 will bring)
