Hey,

Does anyone know how to increase the pinned items to the left in file explorer under quick access since i would like to have more but it wont let me since 48 pinned shortcuts seems to be the limit?

When i search around i only find how to increases the pinned count when u right click icons on the taskbar...

pic bellow is a example (not mine).

Go to the folder you want pinned > right click 'Quick access' > press "Pin current folder to quick access".

You mean how to increase the limit of 50 to more? I am not sure how that would be done (other than probably certain registry edits).

One 'workaround' would be making a folder with shortcuts and just pinning that folder to quick access. Then you can have an 'unlimited' amount of reasonably quickly accesible.

ye im looking for a regedit if there is one. otherwise you have to make a folder as you said there.

there was one for the jump list for the taskbar icons at least
