i cloned my ssd to another ssd recently, everything went as planned

 

now i am just wondering, when do i know when i should format my old ssd?

When you don't need the old SSD anymore, so now.

Take the old SSD out of the computer and boot to the new SSD, if it boots fine and everything is there as you expected, then you can format the old drive.

no, like i'm going to keep the old ssd since it still has a use to me

 

everything on my new ssd seems pretty stable 

 

so when do i know when i should?

Yeah, i'm currently booted off my new ssd

i haven't crashed or anything

If it it stable and all the data is there, then you can format the old SSD.

All i had on my old ssd is Windows and maybe a app or two 

 

and any apps i had on my old ssd are good

 

all i am concerned about is that all of the Windows files are good
