I have a problem with hooking up case fans. The motherboard i am using isn't good for now. I just took a Dell insperon motherboard out of the case to fit a gpu. The pc runs fine but, i think fans would help it preform better. If there is anything I can do before I get my new motherboard.

With a case like that, you aren't going to see any performance difference on an OEM board with more airflow. You can either get a fan splitter or molex to fan adapter if you so wish.

Main: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, 16 GB 4400 MHz DDR4 Linux - Fedora

one is a usb connector that should be on the side of your motherboard, other is an audio cable, this is motherboard specific, check your manual.
