Computer Freezes

When I am just browsing or doing some normal stuff on my PC, it freezes(the cursor doesn't move but the audio will still be playing) for a second or two and then the CPU fan ramps up. When this happens, Realtek Audio Manager closes and audio starts playing through the speakers instead of playing through my headphones. What is the reason behind this?

Well it sounds like there's some kind of driver conflict. Generally moderately difficult to diagnose.

Are you using the windows appointed drivers or DLed and installed from Realtek?

Perhaps uninstall the device in "device manager" and try a different driver maybe?

But even the computer freezes for eg. the cursor stops responding.
