Difficulties with first rig

Hi! This is my first post here. Recently, I just bought the parts for my first gaming PC. Here are the specs:

- ASUS ROG STRIX B450 motherboard
- Ryzen 5 3600X CPU

- Corsair Vengeance 16 Go (2x8 Go) DDR4 3200 MHz C16 XMP RAM

- VGA GIGABYTE RTX 2070 WF2 8G GPU

- 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 (1 To) SSD

- Enermax MaxPro II 700W 80 Plus Power Supply

 

The system posts without a problem and Windows installs just fine. However, the whole experience is unstable. Games and other programs crash randomly. While using Chrome, entering links can cause a STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION error. At worse, the PC just shows a BSoD while in the desktop or in the lock screen (normaly PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA or IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL errors).

 

I have tried reinstalling windows, updating drivers, running Memtest86, updating the motherboard bios, changing the XMP profiles. Nothing helped. I am now starting to wonder if there is some compatibility issue or faulty hardware. I would  be immensely grateful for any help.

The problems happened even before the BIOS update. I am not sure if it would change anything.

Just cleared the CMOS, but the problem remains.

Try turning down the memory frequency (with XMP on) from 3200 to 3000

Just did this and got a KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION error.

check and make sure ur soc voltage is above 1.1v

It is at 1.2 V
