3600 for video editing

will it be alright for video editing of a small home youtube channel when paired with 2080 super(I understand the balance is off, but  video editing is not the main objective here)?

Hard to know.  There’s more than just a cpu involved.  Also Dependent on video length, resolution, memory, and storage speed, none of which are mentioned.

Depends on the length and quality of the video along with effects and stuff. not to mention editing program. I suggest looking up youtube videos with that cpu to see if it works for you. The 3600 is a pretty good cpu for video editing especially since its ipc is good.

3200 CL 16 32 GB RAM, a very fast nvme ssd, raw video footage is around 1 hour, video editing software is adobe premier(can switch to others since I'm still learning).
