DOCP not workin

-asus prime x570-p
-G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 16GB DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800)
-ryzen 5 3600

 

turn on DOCP, save, exit, PC shuts down and boots up 3 times before it goes into safe mode and gives me this

new time pc builder, partner is shocked this isnt workin. pc been workin fine since i built it 2 weeks ago

@lumpenroseTry reseating the RAM.

 

Upgrade to latest bios.

Try this, then try using it with DOCP and manually set the frequency to 3200 or 3000, see if it works with that. Also check the QVL for your motherboard to see if your RAM is compatible.

 

If not, it may work at a lower frequency (3200 or 3000MHz) like mine (Trident Z RGB 3200C16 32gb, runs at 3000MHz with A-XMP/DOCP) does even though it isn't officially supported.

its compatible i checked. i dont feel comfy updating mobo bios, since ive heard of doing that potentially bricking the mobo, i just spend a whole years of savings to build this PC, im scared of ruining everything so idk if i can do that

load the docp and drop the frequency down to 3200 and see if it boots.

If it doesn't

load the docp and go into DRAM Timing Control, set the cas latency to 18 and see if it boots. Says docp is 17-18-18-38

Memory Frequency under Ai Tweaker. Should be the same page you set the docp.

I had an unstable boot on 2700x using DOCP and overclocked all core to 4.3Ghz.

 

Rolled back to 4.2Ghz and all seems fine.

@lumpenrose try 3200 first (using the directions above), and if its stable, great! Otherwise, try 3000MHz
