For some reason suddenly my PC is showing an error, Input signal not found Check the video cable and video source.

Specs:

i5 6400k

Zotac Mini Gtx 1060 6gb mini

Kingston Hyperx 8x2 2400mhz ddr4 ram

Here's what I've done till now to troubleshoot.

I've tried another HDMI cable, getting the same error.

Switched from GPU HDMI port to motherboard HDMI port, same error (I don't think that both of them have been fried at the same time)

Tried using the CPU on my TV, same error

Thought my monitor is dead, tried connecting monitor with my laptop and it's working showing display with both HDMI cable.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Reseat the GPU. Are you displaying an image? If so ddu the drivers and try.

Clear the cmos (though highly unlikely to fix it.).

Appreciate your quick response, There's no image it's just monitor just saying to check the video cable or source, it's going to sleep. I've noticed even when the CPU is not plugged in, it displays the same message. I'm guessing it's the default message which appears when there's no image source.

I'll try reseating the GPU, will surely let you know if it works. Though the pc is lying at the place for god knows 6-8 months and suddenly this issue occurred. I had seen this message in the afternoon but unplugging and plugging the HDMI cable worked. But now it's just the specified message I see.

ah then clean it and make sure there is not any dust in the x16 socket.
