windows10 Finding "missing" used space on storage medium

Windows 10 Home version 1903

 

My (M.2 NVMe SSD) drive reports 21.7GB used, but when checking the total used by files I find it is 11.9GB.

Note: No OS is installed on this drive.

 

I verified this with Window Directory Statistics (WinDirStat) which shows 11.8GB total space used from files.

 

Which places can I look for all this extra data?

 

$RECYCLE.BIN is 129 bytes

Recovery is 0 bytes

temp is 0 bytes
