I am planning on buying a laptop for me. I work with various engineering software.

·         Solidworks

·         Fusion 360

·         Autodesk maya

·         Premier pro

·         Photoshop

·         Illustrator

·         Lightroom

·         Blender

·         Altium

·         Eagle

·         Keiluvision

Etc,.

I also work more with deep learning and build neural networks for serious projects and use pytorch, tensorflow etc,. and I don’t game at all.

I also work with embedded electronics where I code for microcontrollers and simulate designs.

Considering all the above activities I planned to go with quadro rtx 5000. But it seems to very costly so I decided to drop to lower versions and selected few laptops which I could afford to buy.

And I have made an excel sheet of the choices of laptops to buy.

If anyone working in the similar area or an expert in such fields, please help me choose between these wide range of laptops.

And if you need any further details or found struck with any tech specs that I have mentioned, please message me and ask and I will provide all the details I could possibly give.

Thank you in advance for those who come forward to help me.

Just get a asus zephyrus g14 and call it a day? The 4800hs is better than what intel has and a 2060 should be plenty. For serious neural network training you could always just use a stationary desktop somewhere if you really want extra speed.

But I will be running heavy CAD designs and more simulations and in a simple word it will be working 24x7 mostly running heavy works. Will it handle?

I need my wok to be rendered faster.

And if u would like to pick one for the above mentioned work from the list which one would it be?

I was also planning to build a heavy duty workstation desktop but unfortunately here my situation is not apt for that so in a difficult situation I had switch to laptop.😑

Any of the ones with the ryzen 3950x in them. However I would go for a gtx 2080 model BUT with a lower end 3900x. In testing on those laptops the 3900x is the best for them as it doesn't throttle much at all compared to the 3950x which is just a bit too much for those laptops to handle. Also both of those laptops are the same clevo shell.
