Cpu problem

I have a Ryzen 3200g and I just got a gtx 1070. When I try to run a game my cpu usage goes up to 80% why my gpu is barely being touched, making the game not playable. Any tips?

make sure it is using the gpu and not the igpu. can disable onboard gpu in bios, and/or make sure its the one being used in nvidia control panel.

I check the nvidia’s control panel and it’s picking up the 1070. I’m gonna go to the bios and turn of the igpu

I checked the nvidia’s control panel and it’s picking up the 1070. I’m gonna go to the bios and turn of the igpu
