Hi,

3700x stock cooler

2080ti

MSI gaming plus mobo

I was mid DDU uninstall of nvidia drivers to roll back to previous drivers,  and lost power to my PC.  After that my PC was randomly stuttering during games/videos and having low FPS in games.

I reset the PC, updated the bios, and it seemed to have fixed stuttering issues, but my fps in Destiny 2 is still low, around 110-130fps, usually around 150-170.

Before this issue during Destiny all my cores would boost to 4.0-4.1 with temps 60+, but now only 1 core would be at 4.1 and the rest are anywhere from 3.0-3.7 with temps in the 40s.

I've ran multiple cinebench r15s and scored over 2000 will all my cores stable at 4050ghz and temps around 70c, so it seems like the cpu is just acting weird while gaming.

All my pc/cpu settings are now at stock.   I dont think it's a heat issue but to be safe I have the full pc apart for cleaning and I'm on my way to buy thermal paste.

What do you mean by set the power limit to max?

I had PBO enabled and my ram was overclocked to 3600.   That's the only difference between then and now

DDU the Nvidia driver - it's not issuing proper draw calls to the card and CPU. The issue is there.

then set enable pbo and set it to 3600. setting a higher fclk and a higher frequency for ram benefits ryzen quite a bit.

set the power plan for your system to max and set the power limit for the gpu to as far as you can get to.

and as i said, ddu the drivers.

Ok, so after I got home. I took compressed air to the whole PC and put new thermal Paste on the CPU.   I loaded up safe mode and Uninstalled Nvidia Drivers I got blue screen on reset, so I went back into safemode and DDUd Nvidia AND Realtek Drivers and reset again.   I reinstalled sound/Nvidia Drivers, and am now getting more FPS than I've ever gotten in Destiny 2.

Thanks for the Help
