+4 pin need?

Jacob_S
Go to solution Solved by zeusthemoose,

The extra 4 pin for the cpu is only needed for heavy (ln2) overclocking. You do not need it.

I have a cx650m corsair psu, amd 5 3600 cpu and 2070 super. My MOBO is 570x tuf gaming plus. I have the 8 pin eps plugged in but I do not see a way to plug in the additional 4pin eps. Can I use the extra 4 pin eps socket and would I see any benefit with the hardware I have?

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.
