Hello,

I built my first pc roughly 3 months ago. Have not had any issues since and have loved it.

Unfortunately over the past 3 weeks I have had some weird random reboots. When checking EventViewer the first few appeared to have been power setting issues and the computer was going to sleep.

Now over the past few days the PC is unusable. No matter it being idle or under load it reboots every 10 to 20 minutes.

During the reboot the CPU debug LED will stay on and sometimes cause a reboot to fail.

Please help me on my next steps as I'm feeling stuck..

What I've done:

-PSU tested and all good
-Latest BIOS update
-CMOS cleared
-RAM removed and reinstalled
-All cables removed and reinstalled

Should I wipe my computer and try a fresh windows install? I've been trying to complete a Reset all day but it keeps rebooting in the middle of it.

Should I remove the CPU and reinstall it?

hmm.. what's the error code when it ultimately bsod? Or does it just black screens and that's it?

I'd go into the BIOS and lock all voltages. I don't think CPU contact is the problem. But I honestly never heard of this being an issue.. event log usually shows where the error started, be it a watchdog timeout or driver crash.. strange

Most of the time the computer just reboots to my lock screen for me to log in.

Sometimes it doesnt automatically reboot, even pressing my power button does nothing. I have to toggle the PSU and then can press the front case power button to turn the system back on.

Then it fires up as normal. Has only showed a screen ones to enter the Reset PC stage.

I'm trying to lock the voltages now but it just keeps rebooting.. will keep trying.
