Hello all!

I'm looking for some software to edit some videos with (obvious from the title, eh?)

I don't have very much to spend on it, but can get 50-100 bucks if needed.

Free is most certainly better.

My use case is for musical purposes, recording video on my t3i, and placing my songs over top, editing, and syncing them together.

The audio is very important for them, in case that matters :)

Please help, Cheers :)

Case: Lian Li PC011-D - CPU: 3900x - GPU: 2080ti Reference - Mobo: Gigabyte - Ram: Corsair 4x16gb 3200MHz - SSD: 2TB Samsung Evo NVME

As far as music editing, audacity is absolutely fantastic. Free, and very versatile with tons of different possibilities. If you're not sure how to use it, just find some video tutorials.

The music side of things isn't an issue, I have paid software for that. I just need to get the video attached, and maybe a tad of editing it.

Sony movie studio 13, it is $50 from the Sony website and is just a stepped down version of vegas. A good deal. Here is the feature comparison.

You can get Adobe Premier CC Lifetime for $99.95 from these guys: http://topsoftdeal.com/product/adobe-premiere-pro-cc/

Have you tried that site? Seems sketchy...

You could not pay me to buy anything off that site. There is no contact information, no listing of Headquarters address, the Support link is labelled "Get Supported", and the WHOIS Domain information on the domain name is as follows:

I second this. ^

I suggest getting Sony Vegas Movie Studio 13 Platinum. More advanced than the ''standard'' version of movie studio 13, and the suite version just isn't worth the extra price tag (you'll get just extra production music and Sound forge audio studio 10.)

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

Personally I feel that Adobe Premier is the best. Sony Vegas is more of a suite for audio and video, I personally use Premier and I have tried to use vegas and have failed so I think that premier is more intuitive and generally has better effects and color correction
