when oc'ing the 4770k and 4670k, how much of a difference do you guys think there would be in editing and rendering and what ever uses the extra resources?

I7-6700k, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, 2 x 8GB Corsair Dominator Plantinum ram, ASUS GTX 960 STRIX, sound blaster zx, 1TB boot drive ssd, 128GB/256GB storage ssd, 1TB storage HDD, 4TB of storage (backup),Windows 10 Pro,1000w psu

Editing and rendering? It will be pretty substantial, possibly 30%+ in favor of the i7.

the 4770k hotter so thats going to limit your OCing while the 4670k isnt as hot so if your not going to edit allot get the 4670k

allot :) bus speeds onboth will rise when OC but the I7 will defeat the I5 :)

Would the antec kuhler 650 work good with the heat?

i dont know much about the cooler but its a water cooler it should be able to hold its ground in OC if you want to push it as far as you can id look into a nzxt kraken x60

I will look into what ever 120mm aio liquid cooler you find that will fit between the obsidian 250d frame and asus impact mobo.

the x60 dsoent fit in all cases sadly if your not able to find a supporting case theres also the h105 or the swift tech h220
