I currently have a HDD in my main desktop computer which has my OS and games stored on it. I also have a laptop that has a 250gb SSD inside with the OS installed. Is it possible to connect my laptops SSD into my desktop computer and use it to store files and games while still having an OS installed on it?

(OS is Windows 10)

first thing first what kind of ssd do u use if youre using a m.2 ssd make sure your motherboard have a m.2 slot but if it doesnt you can buy a pcie to m.2 adapter which is pretty cheap. or if it was a sata ssd you can just pug it in right on to your computer. Also you can use a hard drive docking.
