So, here is the status of my first PC build. I'm getting my case in today, which is a Corsair carbide 678c case and I should have my motherboard in Tuesday of next week and was wondering where I should go from here on power supply if I'm wanting to do an AMD ryzen with SSD for storage and a 8GB graphics card. Thanks for help and also I'm not overclocking and looking for advice on a quiet CPU cooler.

Best to decide what CPU and GPU, then look at PSUs. When looking for PSUs, have a look at the Tier list in the subforum fof guidance, or feel free to ask on the forum again.

Again, cooler depends on your CPU choice.

What are the parts exactly.

The most top end stuff don't even come close to 550w. So it should be enough.

Budget and what are the parts?

Hi all, thanks for responding I guess it would help if I was more specific on parts lol so here it goes and I'm going for a system thats little to no noise at all since it will be in small bedroom.

Case: Corsair Carbide 678C

Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (WiFi 6) AMD AM4 (3rd Gen Ryzen) ATX Gaming Motherboard (PCIe 4.0, 2.5Gb LAN, BIOS FlashBack, HDMI 2.1, Addressable Gen 2 RGB Header and AURA Sync)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 I don't plan to do any overclocking

RAM: 32GB DDR4

Storage: 1TB SSD not sure of manufacturer yet which ones are reliable and fast?

Graphics: either a nvidia geforce rtx 1080 8gb or 20 series equivalent 8gb doesn't have to be latest and greatest not trying to keep up with jones'

CPU cooler: would like either Noctua Chromax or beQuiet CPU cooler
