I have a question. I need to power a 650 W Amp and my question is what AWG of water should I use.

 

16AWG 8 Foot

18 AWG 10 foot

something else-preferably one of the first two

None. Water and electricity don't mix

 

What is the max amperage? That will tell you what gauge to use.

What do you mean about water? And 120V.

Read your post... You ask what AWG of water you should use. 

 

So at 120v,that is about 5/6 amps. Both guages will work, go thicker to be on the safe side.

What is your use case? That will determine if the two gauges you posted will work.
