How Do I Dual Boot My Laptop from Chrome OS to Windows 10?

DabzerG

So I installed the Chrome operating system and I realized how bad it was at every task besides productivity. I want to boot back into Windows 10 but I do not know how to do so. I have the HP 15-AY009DX laptop with a 900 gigabyte hdd. I have other systems that have Windows and several distros of Linux so if you need me to use one of them I surely can. Please help.

Linux is super easy to get on these, GalliumOS install takes like ten minutes and is super simple.

Windows is a LOT more involved and isn't worth doing imo. I also don't think you can dualboot with Windows and ChromeOS, but I'd read up on this https://mrchromebox.tech/

It isn't a chromebook: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05301836

OP just voluntarily installed ChromeOS for some reason 🤔

Creating a bootable Windows USB drive from one of your windows PCs and then booting off that on the laptop, wiping the drive, and reinstalling Windows should be a breeze.

Haha, oops.

OP, if it's just a normal laptop, it's the same procedure as any other dual boot...
