W10 Changed Recent Files Display...Fixable?

Not sure exactly what update this was, but it was several months ago...

 

In the Quick Access section of Explorer, it shows recent files, which is quite useful to for sending files out. After an update, the Recent Files list no longer shows recent audio files, specifically .WAV. I work in audio and when I export a file for a client, I used to just pop over to the RF list and grab the file there for upload.

 

It seems weird that this feature went away, since it was so useful. With such large drives with TONs of files, even very well organised, it takes time to navigate to the target folder and find the file.

 

Is there a tweak to get this feature back?

Hate to be the guy to bump my own thread, but if anyone has any ideas, I would really appreciate it.

 

All I want is for the "Recent Files" list to include .WAV files. Maybe a registry tweak?

Another bump. Haven't found any info after a load of searches. Any insight would be helpful.
