I mean you can run it, just make sure to check the voltage after it's done to make sure its alright

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

"Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life.

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.

Because I am not that experienced with overclocking, I am thinking of just doing Auto OC, will it be safe?? How will I know if it will crash??

MSI Afterburner stress test automatically so I’d consider that safe

but honesty, just take 15 minutes and study GPU oc’ing. It’s probably better doing it yourself.

Safe? Kind of, but often it pumps too much voltage and you'd be better off watching a few videos and doing it yourself.

I that just wanted to know, I know this is an dumb question but If I turn my you power limit up to 50% and change nothing else will it be safe, and will that alone increase fps??

If you touch power limit and nothing else, that's fine.

It barely does what you tell it to and will still manage itself based on what it thinks is safe.

You didnt mention the card but Turing (current rtx) cards autooc out of the box pretty much best they can,

I tried autooc with my 2060 once and it locked up my machine with the well known rtx memory space invaders on the frozen screen (i freaked out and immediatly pulled the power plug). After reboot was back at defaults, no invaders thank god ever returned.

But never touching the auto-oc button with a ten foot pole again ;)
