i figured it out just had to backup my messages with icould and it worked

do any other icloud services work? Apple doesn't like handing out working tickets to devices that aren't theirs. So you may have to do some Serial trickery.

That shouldn't work since the MacOS on VM doesn't have a serial number and doesn't therefore work with the most apple services like appstore and such

but i was able to send text using imessage through just my apple id a
