don't. Just don't

It is but human, to err, to buy a PSU, akin to dirt,

but fret not, young Padawan, for we will tell you,

what will become, of that, which you have earned

this is terrible for 2.5k AUD

also, you don't need to spend 189 on a win 10 key

I don't care for what it looks like. I don't want RGB and stuff. I just want something that can run my games at 1440p with atleast 100fps

There's quite a bit wrong with it.

Also, you need to quote or tag people so they know you've replied to them.

About the build:

  • First and foremost, wait for Nvidias 3000 series; buy a used card to hold you over if you have to, or run off the iGPU and play some Indie games for a while
  • Don't get the 10500; 10600k or bust
  • get a better cooler, that one won't do you any good. Arctic makes some good ones, I think the Freezr34 or whatever it's called
  • I get the feeling you're massively overspending on the motherboard
  • Go with 3200mhz at least, 3600mhz for best results
  • If you wait, your budget will allow the upgraded parts I've listed; the 3060 will be the same if not more powerful than the card you have listed at significantly less

AS dizmo said, wait for the new stuff hat's around the corner. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/pZMqFG get this, if you really want something now (you can also get a 10600k+ a good z490 board for a bit over 2.5). your build is pretty bad, as it only got a 2070s, btw @Sanguinereptile

  • I'd rather get a 2070 super then anything. I'd want something that can run modern Warfare well.
  • all the 10600K's are sold out and its the best 10th gen i5 I can find.
  • the motherboard is the cheapest i can find that has wifi that seems decent
  • i changed the ram to 3200mhz
  • I'd rather not wait for the 3000 series as well. i can't be bothered to wait, who knows when those will come out.

if youre willing to consider AMD Ryzen,

https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/tGpqFG

how is this for an AMD build?

note: could probably replace the 2070super for a 5700xt, which offers almost same performance for the price of a 2060super

its a pretty good spec, here's some benchmarks (including modern warfare, read dead redemption2, etc)

😕

sorry m8, but that's a pretty bad use of the money, considering that a 2080s could be had. Also, c'mon, not the H510 hotbox

you can replace it with a asus b550 tuf gaming wifi board, it goes for the same price or lower than the b550 tomahawk
