I’m on my third...

The first one the left click broke so if you hold it down, it randomly acts like I release it.

The second, one of the dpi buttons broke and then the same thing happened with the left click while I was getting a replacement.

They have been good about replacing it though. The first time they just sent a new one (still have it) but the second time they wanted me to destroy it on video before they would send a replacement. Luckily, they let me destroy it after I got the replacement when I asked.

I also have the slightly older version though so they might have fixed it on the newest version but I haven’t heard either way.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Quote or tag me so I can see your response

If its omron switches, its rather easy to fix though. Same happened to my g502 a few months back and just need to flex the thin metal strip inside it then done.

If they're still using Omron D2FC-F-K (50M) switches, then nothing has been fixed. The double-clicking problem comes from oxidation on the switch contacts, which is because Logitech is using extremely low voltages far below the minimum spec of the switches in order to prolong battery life. This is true for all of their LiPo-powered mice using 50M switches like the G PRO Wireless, G502 Lightspeed, etc, so hopefully Logitech moves to optical switches soon.

My logitech 603 has already failed twice with the same issue of the single click causing multiple clicks. First failure was under warranty so was able to RMA it, then out of warranty so i purchased some Omron D2FC-F-K switches and replaced it. It works fine now.

no? the Hero sensor is more efficient and uses less power, yes i have heard the double clicking issues still exist but its less likely to happen on the new models,  i can tell that by owning the G502 lightspeed and it has been flawless,  i am still unsure about the low voltages causing the problem as it hasn't happen to me or my friends who owns a either a gpw, or even a g703, etc. and they have owned it for more than a year.

I am using the exact model, they work fine. Having to RMA like 3 times but none of the issues are switches related so I guess the issue is more or less fix at least in short term.

I don't think you've understood. The HERO sensor is more efficient, yes, but it has little to do with it. It's the voltage/current that the switches are being run at, which is the same across both the HERO and the non-HERO mice. This video is on the lengthy side but gives a lot more detail about the problem if you're interested. Anyway, it's not and was never a guaranteed thing on all copies (own most of the 50M/LiPo Logitech mice), but the design flaw is still there to the same degree.
