Budget (including currency):  my budget is $1000 USD not including peripherals

Country:  United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  CS:GO, GTA V, SpiderMan, PUBG, Call of Duty, Coding and basic school work

Other details: this PC’s purpose will be solely for Gaming and School Work, I say streaming in the title as I want to get into streaming but not committed yet. I would prefer if the parts stay within the budget of $1000 but going over 50 or so is fine, if something better can be built for less I would love to see those builds too, I’m looking to average around 144 frames on high setting on any game as well thank you for your time

Here’s my build bellow it’s not the best but I tried 😅

The build you put together looks good, but I made a few changes that improve it a decent bit I'd say:

PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/M3kx3t

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($171.89 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($159.99 @ B&H)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory  ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Silicon Power A80 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  ($129.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: MSI GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB VENTUS XS OC Video Card  ($319.99 @ B&H)
Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400A ATX Mid Tower Case  ($70.98 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  ($99.99 @ Best Buy)
Total: $1032.82

Quick rundown of the changes:

  • the B550 Aorus Elite will natively support Zen 3 chips and also has better VRMs, allowing for upgradability to higher core count chips in the future compared to the B450 Tomahawk
  • faster, cheaper (but less RGB) memory
  • faster NVMe storage that's actually cheaper for some reason (no Samsung tax I guess)
  • probably the most odd choice for most people - I put in a 2060 because it would be better for streaming because of the Turing NVENC encoder, but if you're not that serious about streaming and want to save $20, then the Sapphire 5600XT Pulse (or a Powercolor Red Dragon) are also great picks that will perform about the same as the 2060
  • the P400A has much better airflow than the Hotbox510

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Peripherals: Leopold FC660C w/ Topre Silent 45g | Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed | HIFIMAN HE400se & iFi ZEN DAC | Audio-Technica AT2020USB+

Display: Gigabyte G34WQC
