Random Game crashes

Hello all,

I am having an issue where games like Destiny 2 and Outward are constantly freezing and crashing at random times even on the lowest graphics. I dont know if my GPU is the issue but i though i might as well ask.
I have a Radeon RX 560 (the 2 GB version) and a Ryzen 5 2400G and 8 GB of ram.
I have tried updating drivers and other things but to no luck.

Any help is appreciated

do only the games crash to the desktop or the whole machine? as in the machine locks up and requires a reset via the buttons

only the game locks up. the rest of the computer operates as intended.

have you checked temps?

is this a new build? did it work fine previously? has windows been reinstalled or changed or updated in a while?

I haven't but the fans aren't too loud.
This is a prebuilt form Microcenter. i just added a used GPU my friend gave me and i constantly check for updates

However i have noticed when i scan for updates it shows one and goes right back to "up to date"

if it was free then it probably isn't going to be a perfectly working gpu so that is suspect

It was form a friend so i can ask him if i need to.

and as for temps should i install MSI afterburner to get the overlay for temps?

the psu isnt even rated so thats not a great unit at all

and do whatever you gotta do to get a temp reading off the gpu while under load.
