so i'm trying to get into pc gaming, and my   friend who plays a lot of the same stuff that i plan to do has a 1660 ti, but i'm worried about the frame rates, the other cards that i'm considering are a 2060, and a 2070. i plan on using fortnite, gta v, rainbow 6: siege, apex legends, destiny 2, photoshop, unity, unreal engine, and rpg maker mv

What's your budget and rest of the PC specs?  1660Ti and 2070 are quite different in price and power.

Well 2070 will be the best but it comes down to the rest of your budget. No point us telling you to get a 2070 and then you pair it with a 3200g cpu

CPU - I9 10900 | CPU Cooler - Corsair Hydro Series H100x AIO | Motherboard -  Aorus B460 PRO AC | RAM -G.SKILL Ripjaw V series 4x8GB 2666MHZ | Graphics Card - Gigabyte RTX 3070  | Power Supply - Cooler Master 650w  | Storage -  Working on a new Spicy

Operating System - Windows 10 Pro

Here's a jumping off point. of course you could get a cheaper cpu, mobo and/or case, to subsitute for a better gpu.

Hopefully anything I say is factually correct. Sorry for any mistakes in advanced.

Or just wait for zen 3 and the 30 series from nvidia.

3000 series maybe, thats just a couple months away.

Wouldn't wait for zen 3 for a 800-900ish dollar build.  You are talking 6 months from now before anyone will get one of those in their hands.  3600 is perfect for that build and cheap

El Zoido:  9900k + RTX 4090 / 32 gb 3600mHz RAM / z390 Aorus Master

The Box:  3900x + RTX 3080 /  32 gb 3000mHz RAM / B550 MSI mortar
