*Attention: if you've never solved a rubik's cube before, this topic might be pretty confusing*

I was wondering if anyone on here shared my recently found love for rubik's cubes, or any other cube puzzles. If you do, please share!

I learned to solve a crappy rubik's brand cube about 3-4 weeks ago and I've been hooked ever since. I've gotten quite a lot of DIY speed cubes and learned CFOP (Fridrich) since then. I'm still stuck on 2 look OLL and 2 look PLL but I'm trying to learn more algorithms so I can get faster. Currently my fastest time is 36 seconds. My main cube is a Fangshi Shuang Ren V1 (I got a V2 today but my V1 is broken in so well, I still like it better for now).

So hopefully I'll get the chance to talk to some other techies that are interested in cubing, if not I guess I'll just sit here forever alone... 8a257c6f4d5deba5e12ae30d5ac3adc7.png

I've never really been into things like Rubik's cube. I just get bored of them very easily.

So did I to be honest, I pretty much always had a rubik's cube around but I never knew how to solve one, as soon as I did I got hooked on trying to get faster times, it's really more entertaining than you would think.

I've heard that when you know how to solve them, it's really easy. Some people can do them insanely fast xD I don't have the patience to learn how to solve them.

Yeah that's true, the beginners method is really easy to learn, it took me about 2 hours (you only need to know 5 algorithms, or sequences of moves). It's other methods that are harder to learn, but obviously they will allow you to solve the cube faster.

i can only do the 3x3 in 28.7 seconds, was never really interested in learning anything else but the original.

Personal Build Project "Rained-On"

helped building up the CPU Overclocking Database and GPU Overclocking Database, check them out ;)

That's pretty sweet! What cube and method do you use?
