Your current PC has a 6-core non-hyperthreaded i5 so I think you'll be better off with that dedicated streamming PC.

 

I mean, you already own it and it only needs to handle the streamming

I have an old PC laying around and I was wondering if I could use it as a dedicated streaming PC. It has a i5-6400, a GTX 1050, and 8GB RAM 2666MHz. My current build I was planning on using just for gaming only. It is an i5-9600k, 16GB RAM 3000MHz, and a GTX 1070. Would it be better to use the old pc as a dedicated streaming PC, or just use my current PC for streaming and gaming at the same time.
