Handbrake Audio Settings

Go to solution Solved by 8BitLoser,

Never mind I seem to have found a way to do it with mkvmerge. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHTlQ61AaIE I followed these instructions and they seem to have worked.

Let me start off by saying I am not an expert with handbrake so this might have a simple answer.

Ok so what I am trying to do is encode a set of 64 files that all have dual audio and dual subtitles. Which I have set up just how I want it (English audio as primary and Japanese audio as secondary)(Same with subtitles except it has subtitles for the English version that translates signs and such.), and it all works great. Except when I select a different source or try to add all to the queue, both the Audio and Subtitle tab reset. And I have to manually add an extra audio track and re-add and re-select both subtitle tracks. This wouldnt be a big deal if I was just going to be doing 1-5 videos but Im trying to do 64 and manually doing that will take up way to much time.

I've also messed around with the auto audio and subtitle settings in the options and none of them work right. The audio part adds 3 audio tracks even though there is only physically 2 and all 3 of them are "unknown track 1", which is Japanese.

Anyone got any ideas of what I can do or any program that would make this easier? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do it through the command line and a simple script? It would take a few minutes maximum to write.

Or add a new preset and save your settings in it, and select it for each 64 files.

I unfortunately cannot program and handbrake doesnt save audio and subtitle settings to presets as it would seem.

I found a program that seems to make doing it easier but I still cant figure out how to get settings to be global. The program is MKVmerge GUI. But It seems you also need to know how to write scripts to get it to process a lot by itself.
