Hi guys! I would like to hear your thoughts about this build

CPU Cooler:  Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  (€96.00)
Motherboard:  MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  (€129.00)
Video Card:  EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Video Card  (€687.00)
Wireless Network Adapter:  TP-Link TL-WDN4800 802.11a/b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter  (€38.00)
Case:  Corsair 750D ATX Full Tower Case  (€135.00)
Case Fan:  Noctua NF-F12 PWM 55.0 CFM 120mm  Fan  (€18.19)
Case Fan:  Noctua NF-F12 PWM 55.0 CFM 120mm  Fan  (€18.19)
Optical Drive:  Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer  (€19.23)
Monitor:  Dell U2412M 60Hz 24.0" Monitor  (€215.00)
Monitor:  BenQ XL2411T 144Hz 24.0" Monitor  (€239.00)
Total: €2519.61

The BenQ monitor will be used as main(gaming) the Dell one will be secondary. I can't really buy an other keyboard since I want a gaming AZERTY one. The only other options are €165 or Logitech, and I don't really like the Logitech ones.

Will probably buy Corsair 760T instead of 750D when it's released, just placed to 750D there so the total price would be somewhat correcter.

Not entirely sure yet which case fans to buy. I'll be using the NF-F12's for rads, but I'm not sure whether I should buy NB-eLoop's or Noctua's as case fans. I want maximum air flow with minimum noise, so still have to figure that one out.

Like to hear your thoughts about this! Will be uploading pic's when it's done.

If you plan on upgrading to 4k in the "near" future i would get a titan black instead (if you have the monayz). Other than that, AWESOME! :D

Not really, and don't feel like spending €1000 on a GPU :P

I can't really change my mouse. I'm using a Logitech MX1000. I guess it's around 8 years old or so, but I love it. It fits perfectly in my hand, I just LOVE it and can't find anything like it. And I want a mechanical keyboard, with Cherry keys ^-^.

Don't need that indeed, I'll look into those. Thanks!

When I decide to upgrade to Haswell-E (when it's optimized, and cheaper), will the 750W still be enough? Or should I buy an other PSU anyway at that point?

EDIT: No intention to mine, and pc will be used for gaming + school (Studying at university, figured hyper threading might be useful?)

600W/650w will still be fine for Haswell-E, unless it draws a lot of power all of a sudden. Only go for 750w or 850w if you plan on SLI

I would say that you are overspending here:

1: the RAM find a better deal the RAM doesn't make a big difference

2: the HDD, they are basically the same and you can get a 2tb hdd for about 80€

3: the PSU is way to big, get 750 max

these are some other opinions:

get two of the same monitors, do you really need a cd burner? no one uses those anymore, the razer black widow isn't the nicest or most fancy keyboard get a corsair k70 instead or a g710+ from logitech

Haswell-E will be on a diffferent chip set and you will have to buy a new mobo when you want to get it then

Personally im fine with your decisions, Haswell-E? let it slide for a few years for them to improve on it. dont just buy prototypes when you see one, let it slide.

He'd still be fine. This system won't pull more than 600w no matter how hard he pushes it. And mining with a 780Ti?

Hey anything could happen, im mining with my 210 with some OC's i made 0.03 cents profit a day

Hyper threading is useful for things like video editing and 3D rendering. Games don't really use it at all right now. That may change at some point though.

I'll look into the RAM, any suggestions?, I'll change the PSU to a 750W. I've always heard that you should go with what you calculated +250-300W? So 750W would be correct. And I could leave the burner out and just use my laptop incase I need CD burning. And problem with keyboards is that most companies can't be arsed to make a AZERTY edition. The black widow is one of the cheaper/better ones I can get.

2 gpus and haswell-e

if you don`t sli there is no need for 750W . get a decent 600W or good 550W unit

2 vs 2, 750 vs 600...  gotta persuade him to get the 750

I would look into the normal corsair vengeance ram,

yup sounds good, you should normally just add 10-15% of wattage

sounds good, I never use mine anymore,

get the black widow azerty one, I've never heard of the layout so that sounds alright also since it's mechanical

this is not about who against who. its about the actual Watts used.go look at last Linus build video,he used a bronze 700W psu for 2x gtx 780 Ti in SLI

also this from yesterday

and this

totally agree many people just feel like the PSU has to be super strong and high end, but in actual fact a normal rig doesn't need more than 400W and a better system 550w
