Hello All, For my brothers birthday I wanted to get him a gaming PC within the price range of up to £1400. He plays a lot of shooting games such as Battlefield, tom Clancys etc etc. I don't really care who makes the parts. Any recommendations? Thanks

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to mention I would prefer it prebuilt and if possible in the UK/Europe

If you want a prebuilt, something like this would be good:https://www.ibuypower.com/Store/AMD-Ryzen-3rd-Gen-Daily-Deal/W/1034378

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Quote or tag me so I can see your response

Not sure what pre-built brands are good, but for that money I would look for around these specs:

-Ryzen 5 3600 or 3700X

-2070 Super/ 5700XT/ 2060Super

-16GB ram (preferably 2x8GB sticks of at least 3200MHz)

-An SSD

Try and buy a pre-built with off the shelf parts. That way you're more likely to get good quality components that can be upgraded in the future. One that comes to mind is NZXT's BLD service, which could be worth looking into

Hi there,

As you might know, DIY systems would cost you less amount of money compared to pre-built models. Regardless, I totally understand your preference of getting a pre-built laptop, and you have a really decent budget for the same, so my suggestion would be:

SkyTech Chronos 2700x/RTX 2070 super gaming PC.

Here are the specs of this model:

AMD Ryzen 7 8-core 2700X processor

RTX 2070 super 8GB video card

1 TB SSD

16GB RAM

The RGB lighting and Wi-Fi connectivity are the highlights of this PC.

Hope this suggestion helps!
