egpu switch?

imagine you switched out your laptop gpu (intel)from 2015 for a, lets say 1050 ti, and it runs smooth and it works on table. but can you unplug that gpu and switch back to intel's graphics and use the laptop like normal????

sorry for my confusing words

from what i understand is that you are getting a eGpu for more graphics performance for your laptop. if you unplug it then yes, you can use it like normal
